How does the rental process work?
At The Hour Dress, you can book an appointment online to explore and reserve designer dresses with a deposit. Your dress will be tailored and quality-checked before your event, with final payment and pickup one day prior. After your event, simply return the dress
How do I return the dress after my event?
You’re welcome to return the dress yourself or have someone drop it off on your behalf. Once received, our team will promptly inspect it to ensure everything is in order. Should we notice any damages, we will inform you right away.
Can I rent a dress online?
At The Hour Dress, we believe that the perfect fit and style matter. Therefore, we do not offer online rentals. Our rental process requires you to visit our showroom in person to try on a selection of dresses and ensure the perfect fit and experience.
How can I become a supplier at The Hour Dress?
Becoming a supplier is easy! Just follow these steps: • Submit your application through our website (Become a Supplier) • Our team will review your designer dress/ brand and collection. • Once approved, you'll sign a 1-year consignment agreement and schedule a delivery date for your pieces.
What type of items do you accept?
We accept high-quality luxury evening and bridal dresses and statement pieces that align with our curated aesthetic. All items must be in excellent condition, clean, and ready to rent.
How does the revenue share model work?
The rental income is split 50/50 between The Hour Dress and the supplier after deducting laundry/cleaning fees and the taxes share. This ensures your items are always returned to customers in pristine condition.
When do I get paid?
You will receive your share every time your item is picked up by a client. The payment is processed promptly after the pickup and a picture of your Ready for pickup envelop will be sent to you via WhatsApp.
How can I track my rentals and earnings?
You will be notified upon each rental pickup and you can request an update at any time by contacting our team to check for future reservations.
What happens if my item is damaged or not returned?
Our clients sign a liability agreement upon renting. In the case of major damage or loss, you will be compensated based on the market value of the item as stated in your consignment contract.
